In early February, the Mackenzie Print Group hosted a workshop for students from Brock University's Fine Arts department. As part of their print experimentation day, we provided a hands-on demonstration of the Adana press, allowing students to print their own bookmarks. Additionally, we brought a collection of wood type for students to arrange and use in creating relief prints.

Representing the print group were Chairman Ron Schroder, along with members Kathy Hiscox and Pat McIlroy. While we couldn't offer a full demonstration of the type-locking process due to the mobile setup of the workshop, we've received feedback from students expressing interest in visiting the Printery for a more in-depth experience.
