This past Civic Holiday Monday, the Mackenzie Printery and Newspaper Museum was thrilled to take part in the Past is Present Heritage Festival hosted by the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum.

Our volunteers, Ron and Pat, shared their knowledge and passion for the history of letterpress printing. Visitors had the chance to see the Adana 8x5 Press in action and even print their own bookmark. It was a hands-on experience that gave attendees a real feel for traditional printing methods.

A heartfelt thank you to the team at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum for organizing such a fantastic event and inviting us to be part of it. It was a wonderful day filled with local history, craftsmanship, and community spirit.
